Guinea-Bissau’s general election campaign has entered its third day, building momentum ahead of the November 23 polls. Candidates now have three weeks to win over voters.
The campaign unfolds in a charged political climate, intensified by the exclusion of the main opposition party, PAIGC, after its candidate was disqualified by the Supreme Court.
Tensions have further escalated following recent arrests within the armed forces over an alleged coup plot, heightening concerns about stability ahead of the vote.
