A high-level delegation from ECOWAS and the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS) is set to visit Guinea-Bissau on Sunday, February 23.
The visit comes at a crucial time, as President Umaro Sissoco Embaló’s mandate is set to end on February 27. The delegation is expected to hold discussions with key political stakeholders amid growing tensions in the country.
