Guinea’s National Agency for Health Security (ANSS) has raised fresh concerns over the growing spread of Mpox, following confirmation of a new death linked to the virus.

In its latest bulletin, the agency revealed that the Mpox outbreak now affects 12 health districts, making it one of seven active disease outbreaks currently plaguing the country.

Health officials warn the situation is becoming increasingly complex and are urging the public to remain vigilant as response efforts intensify.
