In our guest interview today, we shine the spotlight on Miatta A.K. Monger, an educator and women’s rights defender, who is living her dreams and aspirations.
After returning home in 2007, following more than 14 years of civil war in Liberia, Miatta Monger dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation through her academic institution, Divine DayCare Academy.
Driven by her passion for girls’ education, Miatta Monger has risen to become the Gender Coordinator for Bomi County in Liberia’s Western Region. She was appointed to this role by President Joseph Boakai.
In her current position, she coordinates gender-related issues affecting women and girls and works to create opportunities that support their well-being.
