Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is back in the country after weeks of medical treatment in the United Kingdom.
She had traveled in early April following a sudden illness that required specialized care abroad, according to official sources.
Upon arrival, she was warmly received by President John Mahama, former First Lady Lordina Mahama, and other top government officials at the Kotoka International Airport.
Her return has been welcomed by many Ghanaians, with government sources indicating she is ready to resume her official duties.
