As Ghana prepares for its 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, the Electoral Commission (EC) has officially announced the opening of nominations.
Starting September 9, aspiring candidates can submit their nominations, marking the commencement of the electoral process.
The nomination period will close on Friday, September 13.
The commission has also maintained the cost of nominations at at GH¢100,000 (6,427 USD) with a reduced fee of GH¢75,000 (4,820 USD) for female candidates and Persons With Disabilities.
