Ghana’s Eastern Region has recorded 2 additional cases of Dengue fever as health officials await results of 57 samples submitted for testing at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 11. According to the Eastern Regional Health Directorate, illegal mining areas are at higher risk of contracting the disease.
