The Ghana Health Service (GHS) is embarking on a nationwide immunization drive against COVID-19 in its quest to achieve herd immunity
The exercise commences on May 4th and ends on May 9th.
According to the GHS, while localized outbreaks are absent, sporadic cases continue to be reported.
The secretariat acknowledging improved immunity levels due to vaccination has underscored the need to sustain these measures until the World Health Organization (WHO) declares an end to the pandemic.
