Businesses in Ghana are lamenting the impact of the worsening power crisis on their operations as calls intensify for the government to issue a load-shedding timetable.
Power supply in the country has taken a turn for the worse, with many areas left in darkness daily.
The Energy Think Tank in Ghana, the Institute for Energy Security, has criticized the poor handling of the situation and called for the sacking of the Minister for Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh.
The minister had recently dismissed calls for a load-shedding timetable to help power consumers plan their lives.
