The Swiss ambassador to Ghana, Simone Giger, has called on Ghanaian women to actively champion the cause of gender equality.

Recognising the courage and resilience displayed by Ghanaian women across various sectors of the economy, she emphasized the need for deliberate efforts to address gender disparities in society.
