Ghana’s National Security has seized a massive stash of U.S. dollars and Ghana Cedis hidden in twelve 20-foot shipping containers during a high-profile operation.

The operation, conducted in a warehouse, also led to the discovery of suspected gold bars, raising concerns about illicit financial activities. Authorities have yet to disclose the total amount seized.

Security officials are investigating the source of the funds and gold, as well as any potential links to money laundering or illegal trade networks.
