In Ghana, the government has lodged a protest at the United Nations after two Ghanaian peacekeepers were critically injured in a missile attack in southern Lebanon.
The soldiers, serving with a UN peacekeeping mission, were wounded when their base came under attack amid renewed hostilities between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.
According to a military statement issued on March 6, the strikes occurred within minutes of each other as exchanges intensified between the Israel Defence Forces and the Lebanese militant group in the region.
