The Ghana Police Service has deployed tactical reinforcement teams to Gbiniyiri, Sawla, and nearby communities in the Savannah Region following violent land clashes.
The clashes have claimed six lives, left dozens injured, and destroyed several properties, including the Chief’s Palace in Gbiniyiri.
Security officials say the deployments aim to prevent further escalation and restore order in the affected communities.
Authorities are also engaging local leaders to address the root causes of the conflict and maintain long-term peace.
