The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced plans to establish an Election Review Committee following its historic defeat in Ghana’s 2024 general elections.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Monday, National Chairman Stephen Ntim expressed the party’s shock at the outcome and emphasized the need for a thorough analysis of what went wrong. The committee, set to be formed in early 2025, will conduct a forensic review of the election process to identify mistakes and prevent future setbacks.
Ntim assured party members and supporters that the leadership remains committed to rebuilding the NPP and regaining public trust in subsequent elections. This marks a critical moment for the party as it seeks to chart a path forward after the unexpected loss.
