Ghana’s Minority MPs are calling on President John Mahama to release a timetable for ongoing power outages, known as ‘dumsor.’
At a press conference on Monday, former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam said the crisis is affecting businesses and livelihoods.
The demand follows the president’s State of the Nation Address on February 27, which the Minority claims downplayed the severity of the situation.
They argue that a schedule would help small businesses plan and mitigate losses.
