A groundbreaking project that aims to transform Ghana into a major player in the global energy market has officially begun.
The facility is set to process 300,000 barrels of oil per day, and will also include petrochemical plants.
At a ceremony in Nawole in the Jomoro District, President Akufo-Addo cut the sod to mark the beginning of work on the first phase of the Petroleum Hub Development Project.
