Ghana’s Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has expressed disapproval of public agencies intentionally withholding information under the Right to Information Law.
He issued a warning, stating that individuals violating the law will face prosecution.
Despite efforts, journalists and civil society organizations continue to encounter difficulties in accessing information, with certain public institutions frequently withholding data and intimidating journalists.
