Ghana is set to publish the findings of the committee that investigated the fatal August 6 helicopter crash. The report will be made public today, November 11, after Acting Defence Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson presented the final document to President John Dramani Mahama and the National Security Council on Monday.
The accident claimed eight lives, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, and Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator Muniru Mohammed Limuna. According to Dr. Ato Forson, the committee carried out a thorough and independent investigation into the tragedy.
Although the findings remain undisclosed for now, their release is expected to shed light on what led to the crash and recommend steps to strengthen aviation safety across the count
