German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has arrived in Ghana for a three-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
He was welcomed at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday evening by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and German Ambassador Frederik Landshöft.
President Steinmeier, who is accompanied by a high-level delegation, will hold formal talks with President John Dramani Mahama on Monday at the Jubilee House. The day’s events will begin with an inspection of a full military Guard of Honour at the presidency.
