Ghana’s Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has declared former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive over multiple corruption-related cases. The allegations involve the National Cathedral project, Strategic Mobilization Limited (SML), and two other investigations.
At a press briefing on February 12, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng announced that Ofori-Atta is now a wanted person and must return to Ghana immediately for questioning. He warned that failure to comply would lead to measures to compel his return.
