Former Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame has sued the government over the mass dismissal of public sector workers.

He is challenging a directive from Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, which revoked post-election recruitments made by the previous administration.

Dame argues the move violates Article 191(b) of the Constitution, which prohibits dismissals without just cause.

The case is set for a hearing in June 2025.
