Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has arrested 320 individuals in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, during a large-scale operation targeting human trafficking and economic crimes.
EOCO reports that 25 of those arrested are suspected perpetrators, while 295 are believed to be victims of trafficking and fraudulent employment schemes linked to a company operating under the name QNET.
The operation forms part of ongoing national efforts to combat organized crime networks exploiting vulnerable individuals through deceptive recruitment and trafficking activities.
