In Ghana, the Electoral Commission (EC) has announced it cannot uphold the parliamentary election results in nine constituencies due to irregularities.
At a press conference on Thursday, EC Chairperson Jean Mensa raised concerns about the declaration processes in these areas, emphasizing that they did not adhere to the provisions outlined in CI 127, the law governing presidential and parliamentary elections in the country.
The EC is currently reviewing the affected results, raising questions about their potential impact on the overall parliamentary composition.
