The Chairperson of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, has urged citizens to remain patient as the Commission works to finalize and declare the official results of the December 7 presidential elections.
Speaking at a media briefing on Sunday, December 8, Mensa emphasized the EC’s dedication to a transparent and credible process, citing the intricacies involved in collating results from across the country.
The statement comes amid growing public pressure for the timely release of results. Mensa assured Ghanaians that the Commission is working diligently to ensure accuracy and fairness in the electoral process.
