The Ghana government has announced the indefinite closure of its embassy in Tehran, citing escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Accra says the decision follows ongoing hostilities involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

According to Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Ablakwa, the move is a precautionary measure aimed at ensuring the safety of Ghanaian diplomats.
