President John Mahama has unveiled plans to offer 1,000 scholarships to students from ECOWAS member states.

The announcement was made during the launch of ECOWAS at 50 in Accra.

Mahama said the initiative aims to boost regional unity, education, and capacity building across West Africa.

The scholarships reflect Ghana’s continued commitment to ECOWAS’ vision of cooperation and integration.
