Ghana and Sierra Leone are set to strengthen ties following a high-level meeting between Presidents John Mahama and Julius Maada Bio in Freetown.

The leaders agreed to revitalize a General Cooperation Agreement and establish a Permanent Joint Cooperation Commission.

This initiative aims to boost collaboration in trade, security, and development between the two West African nations.

Officials from both countries will soon finalize the framework to implement these agreements effectively.
