A recent report by Afrobarometer has revealed a significant rise in support for military intervention in politics.
The 2024 survey shows that 51% of Ghanaians now believe the military should intervene if elected leaders abuse their mandate, up from 40% in 2022.
The findings also indicate a decline in opposition to military involvement, with the percentage of Ghanaians opposed dropping from 55% in 2022 to 47% this year.
