The Gambian National Assembly has postponed the second reading of the 2024 Constitution Bill to June 2025.

This follows a request from the Attorney General and Minister for Justice for a reschedule.

Originally set for March 27, the vote will now take place during the Second Ordinary Session.

The delay raises questions about the bill’s prospects and future constitutional reforms.
