The Gambian Vice President, Muhammed B.S. Jallow, addressed Parliament on concerns over President Barrow’s use of government vehicles during travels.
During an oral session, VP Jallow clarified that the president does not personally order the vehicles but rather follows directives from government departments to accompany him.
The statement comes amidst public criticism of the large fleet often seen in the president’s entourage during visits outside Banjul.
