The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has held a one-day advocacy meeting for the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) and establishment of National Preventive Mechanism (NPM) in The Gambia.

The meeting is meant to help popularize the legal documents with a view to ratifying them.
