The National Assembly of The Gambia has officially approved the 2025 national budget, concluding the process without further debates or amendments.

This decision, finalized on Monday, comes after earlier deliberations on the budget estimates, during which numerous amendments were introduced. These revisions were incorporated into the final document, presented by the finance minister last week.

The approved budget is expected to drive the country’s development agenda in the coming year, aligning resources with national priorities.
