The Gambian government has pledged to support its citizens seeking to benefit from Spain’s new programme offering legal status to undocumented migrants.
The scheme, approved by the Spanish cabinet late last month, provides a pathway to residency for up to 500,000 eligible migrants.
Authorities in Banjul say they will facilitate access to required documentation, including passports, to help Gambian nationals take full advantage of the opportunity.
