Lawmakers in The Gambia have opened the First Ordinary Session of the 2026 legislative year, with digital and economic reforms high on the agenda.
Central to discussions is the Communications Bill 2025, tabled by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Lamin Jabbi.
The proposed legislation seeks to overhaul the country’s communications framework as part of broader efforts to modernise the sector.
