The Independent Electoral Commission of The Gambia has convened its monthly stakeholder meeting as part of preparations for upcoming electoral activities in the country.

The meeting brought together representatives from various sectors to review preparations, discuss key electoral issues, and address emerging concerns.

Discussions focused on the next supplementary voter registration exercise scheduled to begin on April 8 and run through May 21, 2026.

One of the issues highlighted during the meeting was the attestation requirement in the voter registration process.
