The Gambia’s State House has confirmed that Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama will visit Banjul on Friday for a day’s working visit.

President Adama Barrow is set to welcome President Mahama at the Banjul International Airport before hosting him at a state luncheon. The two leaders will later engage in a private meeting to explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations between The Gambia and Ghana.

This visit follows President Barrow’s attendance at President Mahama’s inauguration in Accra on January 7, 2025.
