The ECOWAS Commission and the ECOWAS Ambassadors Solidarity Forum in The Gambia have conducted a solidarity visit to the State Central Prison at Mile II, including the Children’s Wing.
The visit aimed to promote dialogue between prison authorities and the ECOWAS delegation, strengthening relations and addressing concerns of incarcerated individuals. This initiative underscores ECOWAS’s commitment to engaging with correctional facilities in the region.
