Thirty personnel of the Gambian Armed Forces have completed a three-week intensive training programme in explosive ordnance disposal.

The exercise, conducted in partnership with the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, aimed to equip troops with skills to detect, handle, and neutralise explosive threats.

Military officials say the training forms part of broader efforts to strengthen national security, safeguard civilians, and protect critical infrastructure.
