At least three officials of the former administration of George Weah have been arrested and taken to jail on allegations of economic sabotage, misuse of public money, theft and criminal conspiracy, and criminal facilitation among others.

The arrests were made following a complaint from the Ministry of Justice and the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission.
