In Senegal, the FORCE-N program is empowering young people with digital skills to prepare them for employment or entrepreneurship in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. The initiative is a collaboration between UN-CHK and the Mastercard Foundation.

Speaking on Thursday, June 12, program officials revealed that FORCE-N aims to train and integrate 70,000 youth—55% of them women—into digital careers. The program aligns with Senegal’s broader Technological New Deal for economic transformation.

Launched in 2021 and running for six years, FORCE-N offers diverse training opportunities designed to foster professional readiness and support the growth of digital entrepreneurship across the country.

According to FORCE-N Director Dr. Seydina Moussa Ndiaye, the program has already shown significant impact, marking a major step toward building an inclusive and future-ready digital economy in Senegal.
