The 29th edition of the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) has officially begun.

This year’s festival showcases 248 films from 48 countries, highlighting African cinema’s diversity and cultural identity.

Themed “African Cinema and Cultural Identity,” the event features Chad as the guest country of honor.
