The European Union Special Representative for the Sahel, João Gomes Cravinho, is in Liberia to deepen cooperation on peace, security, and economic development.
At a media briefing on Tuesday, Cravinho stressed the urgent need to strengthen border control while addressing the impact of climate change on migration patterns.
His visit included meetings with key government stakeholders, such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, members of the National Security Council, lawmakers, the Inspector General of Police, and civil society representatives.
