The Gambia’s Navy has received a boost to its maritime operations with the handover of two high-speed patrol boats and advanced forensic equipment.
The support comes amid rising concerns over smuggling, illegal fishing, and other maritime crimes along the country’s coastline.
Authorities say the new assets will enhance coastal surveillance, improve rapid response capabilities, and strengthen The Gambia’s contribution to regional maritime security efforts.
