Have you heard of ECO jogging?
This is an environmental sporting initiative that brings together young environmentalists from select countries in the Sahel, including Chad, Guinea, Benin, and Togo, as well as France, to clear the environment of waste.
These young people, during the exercise, will collect or pick plastics of any type along their way; the team with the highest pick count wins the trophy.
Guinea was the host country of the last edition, with France winning the Trophy.
Felix Tagba, President of ECOJogging said these exercises, participants collected and recycled tons of plastic while raising awareness among thousands of citizens.
