The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) announced that the African-Atlantic Gas Pipeline (AAGP) project is set to significantly increase electricity generation and stimulate economic, industrial, and agricultural growth throughout West Africa.
During a joint meeting of ECOWAS Ministers of Hydrocarbons and Energy, with representatives from Morocco and Mauritania, ECOWAS Commissioner for Infrastructure, Energy, and Digitalisation, Mr. Sediko Douka, stressed the importance of the initiative.
