The ECOWAS pre-election mission in Côte d’Ivoire has officially concluded its work following a week of high-level engagements ahead of the country’s October 25 presidential election.
Led by Professor Théodore Holo, the delegation met with key stakeholders, including political parties, civil society organisations, the Independent Electoral Commission, and President Alassane Ouattara.
The visit aimed to assess the political climate and encourage peaceful, transparent elections. While details of the mission’s findings remain undisclosed, the conclusion marks an important step in regional efforts to support democratic processes in Côte d’Ivoire.
