Media professionals from more than 23 countries have gathered in Dakar for the first Africa International Media Fair, which began on Monday.
The four-day event, hosted by the Senegalese government, is being held under the theme “Africa Faces New Media Challenges.”
It aims to strengthen Africa’s media ecosystem, promote authentic storytelling, and address the growing threats of misinformation that endanger press freedom across the continent.
