The downward trends of democracy is drawing concerns from Civil Society Organizations in Africa who are calling for the strengthening of solidarity among the civic space.
In the Senegalese capital of Dakar, Stakeholders across Africa have been deliberating in Dakar on the concerns of a shrinking civic and media space, arguing that this perilous time requires a new framework for solidarity, for social movement and civic leaders.
