The 3rd Japan-Africa Public-Private Economic Forum in Abidjan concluded with the signing of 14 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between Japan and African public and private sector players.
The signing ceremony, presided over by Ivorian Minister of Trade and Industry Souleymane Diarrassouba and Japanese Minister Ogushi Masaki, underscores Japan’s commitment to fostering economic partnerships across Africa.
Countries benefiting from these agreements include Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, and Ghana, highlighting Japan’s focus on bolstering trade and development ties with the continent.
