Ahead of the commencement of the tournament tomorrow, January 13, 2023, Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara has ordered the deployment of 20,000 security personnel across the country particularly at the gaming centres to ensure maximum security of spectators and players.
President Ouattara in his greeting during the traditional New Year ceremony urged the defence and security forces to remain vigilant and proactive all through the duration of the delayed Continental football tournament.
